Sarah is an award winning Interior Designer based in Langport, Somerset, previously known for her successful handbag design business. Using the skills she honed through her previous career as an accessories designer Sarah established Sarah Southwell Design in 2020. Sarah studied interior design at KLC School of Design, London.

Sarah recently received the highly commended award in the 2023 British Institute of Interior Design Awards in London (BIID Interior Design Awards) To date, Sarah’s projects include an eclectic mix of properties - A Grade 11 Listed 16th Century Manor House in Somerset, a five bedroom townhouse in South West London, a boutique on the Kings Road, a Victorian family home in Clapham, a holiday cottage in Bruton, A family home in Battersea and a family home on the coast in Salcombe. Sarah’s work has been recently featured in House and Garden, Homes and Garden, Country Living, Domino Magazine, The Sunday Times Home, Grand Designs Magazine, Times property, 25 Beautiful Homes magazine and Ideal Home. Sarah’s transformation of a 16th Century Manor House also featured on TV recently on channel 4’s Renovation Nation.
