ABOUT
Sarah is an award winning Interior Designer working across Somerset, London and beyond. Sarah studied interior design online at KLC School of Design and founded her studio, Sarah Southwell Design in 2020.
Sarah’s projects have the appearance of being developed effortlessly over time. With her use of antiques, bold colours and playful fabrics, her interiors are well planned, joyful and comfortable. She mixes the old with the new in a traditional and timeless style but always with a colourful and quirky twist.
Sarah’s goal is to create inclusive spaces that accommodate the diverse needs of every individual. She feels it is time we widen our approach to how a space can provide support and nourishment to those who experience their environments differently.
‘I believe your home should elevate your mood and bring joy and comfort. One of the most important aspects of my design practice is how the space makes my clients feel’
To date, Sarah’s projects include an eclectic mix of properties - A Grade 11 Listed 16th Century Manor House in Somerset, a five bedroom townhouse in South West London, a boutique on the Kings Road, a Victorian family home in Clapham. A family home in Battersea and a family home on the coast in Salcombe, Devon. She is currently working on a home in Nottinghill in London and has just started work on a family home in Sag Harbour in the Hamptons in the USA.
